Dramatik, who is a Canadian rapper of Haitian descent, founded the group Muzion in 1996 with whom Wyclef Jean (who will be at the Beachclub on June 30th) collaborates in 2004 for his song 24 Heures À Vivre. This collaboration definitely does not go unnoticed and shortly after its release, members of the group decide to focus on their solo career. Dramatik released his first solo album in 2009, followed by his album Radiothérapie in 2014.

Sans Pression

In its early days, Sans Pression was composed of two members, Kamenga Mbikay and Ti-Kid Frodè alias Komokai, who was only part of the group’s first album (514-50 dans mon réseau). After Komokai’s departure, Sans Pression released several albums, including Vagabond Ma Religion in 2013. In 2005, he opened for the Black Eyed Peas at the Bell Center, and he recently released a cover of Ed Sheeran’s hit song Shape Of You titled Sans Pression Chu T’en Amour Avec Le Money on Youtube. He is undoubtedly one of the leaders of Quebec’s hip-hop movement.

In 2018, FouKi is named among the 10 young artists to watch in 2018 by the team of the show Plus on est de fous, plus on lit on ICI Radio-Canada Première. After he finally caught the attention of the renowned label 7ième Ciel, which also supports artists such as Alaclair Ensemble, Dramatik, Koriass and Manu Militari, the rapper’s debut album, Zay, is finally released in 2018.

It is also this album that allows them to come out of the shadows and become pillars of Quebec’s rap industry. Although the members of the group parted ways, they reunited in 2009 for the production of their album Trait d’union.
