The second weekend of the Beachclub received none other than the Latin legend Daddy Yankee and the very intense Carnage. Music from two different artists for two very different crowds, but all with one goal : have fun !
Saturday, July 6th
The day began in a torrential rainstorm but finally gave way to the bright sun and hot weather as soon as the doors openned on Saturday. The crowd was happy and clearly very excited to see the king of reggaeton once again this year. There was a lot of people waiting in line from the beginning, but the crowd was particularly amazing at only 2pm.
Moreover, DJ Spin, Montana and DJ Kleancut entertained the impatient crowd by mixing well-known hits to the delight of the crowd that was swaying on the dance floor. Nothing better to warm up and be ready to welcome the headliner.
It is therefore in front of a delirious and very festive crowd that the long-awaited Daddy Yankee has made his entrance on stage. Accompanied by his dancers and wearing fluorescent colors, the king performed his greatest hits like « Lo Que Pasó, Pasó », « Dura », « Gasolina », « Con Calma », « Despacito » to finish with » Limbo « . He performed for more than an hour, which delighted the audience who gave their all, dancing and singing to the sound of their favorite songs.
Sunday, July 7th
Carnage, in performance this Sunday, had made the promise to « destroy » the Beachclub with his set. Well, we will be honest, he has clearly kept his word!
Preceded on stage by DJs Gommi and Sludge in B2B, Gravedgr and GTA, Carnage came on stage in front of a crowd already very excited and ready to give everything they have on the dancefloor. The DJ had as much fun playing as the crowd watching him, so he extended his set by almost an hour. He gave a performance of nearly 2:30 to all his fans who came to party hard the Beach! The energy was at its peak when the DJ played « I Like Tuh », his hit « Toca » with Timmy Trumpet and « WDYW » his mix with Lil Uzi Green, A$AP Ferg and Rich the Kid. He also played several pieces still unreleased.
A beautiful Sunday like we love them, surrounded by festive people, good music, warmth and alcohol!
