Aly & Fila presents Future Sound Of Egypt
Aly Amir Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib are both originally from Egypt. Friends since kindergarten, they decided to create the trance duo, Aly & Fila. In 1999, they created their own studio and started mixing. Their passion for electronic music grew after discovering Paul Van Dyk.
In 2002, they signed with the German label, Euphonic Record. Their first single, Eye of Hurus, is well received by trance music fans. More importantly, even their inspiration, Paul Van Dyk, approved the song that reached the fourth position of the Dutch Dance Charts. They made their debut in the DJ Mag in 2008 and reached the 20th place in 2013.
The duo has created its sublabel, Offshore, to promote Egyptian artists and their music. They sold it in 2010. Aly & Fila had the chance to mix with Armin van Buuren in several episodes of his show: A State of Trance.
In addition, Aly & Fila are among the legends of music who had the chance to perform at one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. They made history by being one of the only DJ duets to perform at this location, making this show the biggest of their careers. They have performed at major EDM festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Global Gathering, Dance Valley, Stereosonic and WMC.
Moreover, the duo decided to launch their radio show called Future Sound Of Egypt. The show consists of broadcasting and promoting trance music. This weekly program has been presented since 2006. Moreover, following their 300th episode in 2013, the FSOE 350 Worldwide Tour has been set up. 2017 began with Aly & Fila voted the « DJs # 1 & Producers # 1 » on the podium of prizes for trance music.
Purple Haze alias Sander Van Doorn
Purple Haze has had the chance to perform several times on Aly & Fila’s Future Sound of Egypt radio show. On August 17, we will have the chance to see him mix during this show. Purple Haze is a Dutch DJ and producer. In 2009, he was ranked 10th best DJ in the DJ 100 Top mag. In addition, a year before this ranking, he launched his first album, Supernaturalistic, under the label Spinnin ‘Records. The DJ, that has begun at the age of 16, has managed to create, through the years, a unique and stylish sound. Purple Haze is a producer in the soul and began mixing to publicize his mix.
