Nicky Jam
Daddy Yankee’s announcement has been a huge talk, and the event is even now SOLD OUT ! With the growing success of Latin music and the reggaeton culture, we wanted to spoil you even more and this time, it’s Nicky Jam who will be performing at Beachclub on August 4th for a very hot day. Nicky and Daddy Yankee even formed a duet back in the 90s, before splitting up in 2004.
Career
From an early age, Nicky Jam, born Nick Rivera Caminero, was already involved in the reggaeton culture, rapping in supermarkets in his neighborhood. It is at only 11 years old that he got noticed and composed his first album called Distinto a los Demas. Although his career had a downturn following his split with Daddy Yankee, it took off again when he founded his own record label called La Industria, Inc. a few years later.
It is finally in 2014 that the singer knows the most success when he released his album titled Greatest Hits, Vol 1, which contains songs like Voy a Beber, Si Tu No Estas, Piensas en Mi or Travesuras. A year later, in 2015, he collaborated with none other than Enrique Iglesias for El Perdon, and they won Best Urban Performance at the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony.

Nicky Jam started the year off strong with a collaboration with J. Balvin called X (EQUIS), and we also learned that he will be singing the anthem for the 2018 World Cup.
