On June 16th and 17th, Beachclub presented two very important events, and it is without any hesitation that we can qualify this weekend of legendary ! Indeed, two legends of the music industry were in Pointe-Calumet, and their performance certainly did not go unnoticed. On June 16th, the singer EVE was at Beachclub for a throwback day and on June 17th, it was the king of techno, Carl Cox.
June 16th – EVE
Last Saturday, Montana, Miss Shelton and Kleancut, from Midway Group, kicked off the day. They are talented artists, and they adapt to any style in an impressive way. At the end of the day, the dancefloor was warmed up for EVE, who was performing for the first time in Montreal. She made a very noticed entrance, and the crowd was delirious ! We heard as many new songs as hits from the ’90s, like Who’s That Girl and Tambourine. Several fans even had the chance to go on stage with EVE, who gave a very energetic performance. It was finally DJ Spin who closed this very sunny day.
June 17th – Carl Cox
This incredible techno day started with Jimmy Strip and Phil White, followed by the duo Dense & Pika. Beachclub quickly filled up, just in time for the arrival of our beloved Misstress Barbara, who showed us by her performance that she is a veteran of the techno scene. Her electrifying set definitely pleased everyone, and the day was just getting started. The legend Carl Cox then joined her for a back to back absolutely memorable and very energetic, which will be remembered for a long time. The so-called techno king then gave us a performance worthy of his talent to conclude this colorful day.
Escapade
